Soixante-dix ans après que son grand-père ait fui l’Allemagne Nazi pour s’installer en Palestine, le réalisateur de documentaire israélien Tomer Heymann (« Paper Dolls ») retourne au pays de ses ancêtres, où il rencontre un homme qui va changer sa vie.
I shot my love nous raconte une histoire d’amour personnelle, mais combien universelle, et suit la relation triangulaire entre Tomer, son petit ami allemand, et sa mère si profondément israélienne.
